Violet Hill and iPhone Comin' to Canada

Coldplay made the first single, "Violet Hill", from their upcoming album "Viva La Vida and Death and all His Friends" available for free download today.

Jonny's guitar bits make me crazy and the boom boom boom of the drums is just right. The artwork is stunning as well. The Boys will be playing free shows in Brixton and New York in June.

Rogers has confirmed it will be carrying Apple's iPhone in the near future. I must have this phone!

The razor I brought on this trip to shave my legs turned out to be a deadly weapon. Thank goodness I only needed use it once since I got my legs waxed before I left Toronto. Today I was in need of a cleanup and Judy kindly let me christen the new razor that I brought her, the Venus Embrace.

This razor is the Rolls Royce of razors.

Hello London!

I'm currently in Camden and loving it. Italy was amazing (except for the cold, rainy weather). Many pictures to come once I get back to Toronto.

Judy and I have been hitting the pavement and the pubs pretty hard since I landed in London on Monday. Today I made my pilgrimage to the Marc Jacobs store in Mayfair. It was everything I expected and more. Of course, I did some nice shopping. Marc never lets me down.



My other new love is Harrod's. I felt like I was in a dream walking through it. Heaven!

This trip is going by too quickly.

CIAO ITALIA!

In just over six hours I'll be on my way to Torino, Italy to see my beloved Juventus in action. My first plane ride, my first visit to Italy, my first time seeing Juve live....this trip is all about firsts.

After 10 days in Torino, I'll be visiting my dear friend Judy in London, England. I can't wait to see the sights and to raid the Marc Jacobs store.

See ya in 17 days Toronto. Can't say I'll miss you.

"I Heart Middle Aged Boys" - 2 Days

That's what the pin said on the girl's purse sitting beside me on the bus today.  After having a secret giggle, I realized this was true of me. How convenient it was then that the guy sitting on the other side of me easily qualified as one of these "middle aged boys."

As soon as he sat down he took out his PSP and was very focused on playing World Rally Championship (at 7 a.m. no less). I think it's really cute how interested boys are in their video games.  PSP boy was also wearing a great cologne. I love mens cologne! Ash and I would cut through The Bay's cologne section just so we could get a whiff on our way to the gym.

I've been a Madonna fan since I was three years old. I love the lady, but this is not her best video. It's okay, but I find it too pedestrian. It looks like every other pop video out there.
